10 hours total to do the coloring for this piece and you say you need to go faster? Wow... I wish my coloring came out nearly as detailed at twice the work time! Very nice work!!

She came out very lovely in color! I love the way you've got the lightning reflecting off her body and armor/clothing. :boing:

If you ever figure out a way to color faster, let me know. This is why I do a lot more B/W work than digital color. :D

Thank you very much. In this particular method the coloring itself doesn't take long. All the work is in the gray scale, which the only way to get faster with that is to do it more... :)

So you did the gray scale and then did color layers over it? How does that work? Did you use transparent colors so they would show up over the gray? I do like the effect it makes.

I agree, the more we do, the faster we get... :D

Yes, gray scale first. For the color I just set the layers to "color" or "overlay" and sometimes "multiply", depending on how well it looked. From there, depending on how far you want to go, you can brush in colors in "normal" mode to intensify the colors.
